It is for these reasons that The Hangar has decided to establish a program that will put children in the seats of our Cinema. Because we believe children stand to gain the most from such a powerful medium. More than fifty area schools have been invited to help share in the opportunity that motion picture film gives us; to inspire, to teach, to motivate. Together, we can ignite the passion of a youngster or force a student to re-think their view of the world.
The concept is simple . . .
Participating schools are given an allotment of FREE Hangar Movie Tickets each quarter - based on their current enrollment. These tickets are distributed in each school to students who find themselves deserving of this instant fun reward. The side benefit comes later - when they find themselves sitting in a high-tech Cinema; surrounded by the sights and sounds of an inspiring or educating film.
We encourage the school's contact person to distribute these passes to as many different groups and/or organizations affiliated with their school as possible. It is our intention that this program will create an efficient (and direct) way of awarding educators and school support programs with the 'extra' resources to motivate students IN THEIR ENTIRE COMMUNITY.

The Holiday Season Box Office at The Hangar will offer a grand list of titles that have the potential to impact the children in our communities in great and profound ways. It is my goal to see to it that EVERY CHILD has the opportunity to be inspired by such wonderful films.
